Math Team Kick-Off Meeting  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thank you to everyone that showed up for the math club informational meeting last Tuesday.  We had a great turnout!  The first math club meeting for the kids will be the first Tuesday after Spring Break, March 23rd.  Beginning on the 23rd, the club will meet every Tuesday before school from 7:15 to 7:45.  The kids will be divided up by grade.  There will be a short, fun math activity, followed by doughnuts.    This extra-curricular activity is open to all students. It is not necessary to have attended the meeting last week to participate in math club.  We hope that you and your child will join us.  Watch your Wednesday envelope and this newsletter for more information.  Mobile Dentist at Stonewall TOMORROW ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Smile Texas, the mobile dentists, are coming to Stonewall on Tuesday, March 9th.   In order to participate, you must return a permission slip for your child.  A flyer with a permission sheet was sent home on Wednesday.  Additional forms are available in the nurse's office.  Please contact the school nurse, Pat Johnson, if you have questions or need new forms.     Dads Club Meeting Thursday, March 11 7:00PM Snuffers Restaurant (Front Room) AGENDA 1) Field Day  - Select T-shirt contest winner 2) Math Club Update 3) Next Long Feeder School night (tentatively set for Wed, Mar 24th)   Woodrow Choir Featured on KERA Channel 13 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Woodrow Wilson High School's award-winning choir will perform in Tim Janis, Celebrate America.  Woodrow's choir will be one of only 13 choirs out of all North Texas choirs to perform.   The show will air on Monday, March 15 at 7:00 PM on KERA TV, channel 13.  Be sure to tune in!
